Arlene Elizabeth May O'Leary, age 85 of Stratford passed away peacefully on December 15, 2020 at Milford Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Lawrence O'Leary.  Born in Bridgeport on May 29, 1935 she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn Hardy May.  Arlene graduated Harding High School Class of 1953 and Bridgeport Hospital School of nursing in 1956.  After earning her degree, she worked at Bridgeport Hospital for a number of years and retired from Gardner Heights Convalescent Hospital in Shelton after providing care for 17 years there.  She was a life member of BHSN Alumnae I & II, she also enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling and her trips to the casino, she truly enjoyed her time with family and friends.  In addition to her devoted husband Lawrence of 63 years, she is survived by her children; Erin O'Leary, Eileen Dunn, Maureen Phillip and her husband William and Patrick O'Leary and her brother Arthur W. May and his wife Leona.  She is also survived by her 9 loving grandchildren; Robert, Dion, Nicholas, Marissa, Taylor, Mackenzie, Megan, Ryan and Katrine. 2 great grandchildren, Isabella and Stella, her daughter in-law Natasha O'Leary, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her son Lawrence P. O'Leary and her grandson, Michael S.
