Anne G. Crepeau, age 94 of Stratford passed away peacefully on Monday December 11, 2017 at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Center in Stratford, CT. She was the widow of Kenneth J. Crepeau, Sr.

Born on November 17, 1923 in Thompsonville, CT she was the daughter of the late Jan and Anna (Garstka) Zawadski. Anne was an avid sun worshiper, beachgoer and lover of cats. She was a great cook and an outstanding baker, especially at Christmas when she would make dozens upon dozens of amazing cookies. She enjoyed theater, and was an usher and volunteer at the Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford for many years. She was a great fan of music, from big bands to the Beatles. She worked more than 20 years for the Board of Education in the town of Stratford, beginning as a part-time dish room attendant and retiring as the manager of the cafeteria at Bunnell High School.

Anne is survived by her three children, Kenneth J. Crepeau Jr. and his wife Beverly of Milford, Candice M. Gray and her husband Brian of Hamden, Lee J. Crepeau and his wife Tina of Brookfield, two brothers Henry Zawadski of Bridgeport and Jack Zawadski and his wife Alice of Stratford along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters and six brothers.

A Funeral Service will be held for Anne on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford officiated by her son-in-law Brian Gray. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Stratford.
