Anna M. Rakowsky's Obituary
Anna M. (Gilbride) Rakowsky, age 95 of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, June 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Stanley Rakowsky.
Born in Bridgeport on December 23, 1922 she was a daughter of the late Peter Joseph and Anna Elizabeth Weldon Gilbride. Anna enjoyed playing bingo, doing crosswords and puzzles.
She leaves her two daughters, Sharon Gould and Beverly Kaplanka, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her husband Stanley, she was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Cadrin, grandson Michael Kaplanka and great-grandson Jesse Ebstein.
A Funeral Service will be held for Anna on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Cemetery in Stratford . There will be no calling hours.
