Ann Patricia Prioletto, 87, died peacefully with family at her side on September 2 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Connecticut where she was currently residing. She was born in Greensburg, Pa., daughter of the late Liborio Prioletto and Domenica Di'Blasio Prioletto. A lifelong resident of Greensburg, she grew up and attended school there, remaining in her childhood home as long as able and only recently re-locating to Connecticut to be closer to family caretakers. She was employed in the business office at Bell Telephone Company, retiring after 45 years. She was an active member of St. Paul's Parish where she was a Eucharistic minister, member of the funeral choir, rosary altar society and the prayer chain. She was a member of the Italian Women's club working on their Scholarship committee and also a volunteer at the Palace Theatre and Westmoreland Hospital. She loved to cook and bake, enjoying dinner with family and friends and baking for many special occasions. She was also blessed to be able to travel extensively, particularly to Italy, Argentina and Canada where she remained in touch with extended family members. Ann was an outgoing person who enjoyed conversation with friends or strangers, able to maintain her sense of humor even during recent times of illness. Grateful for the care given to her at Newhaven Court in Greensburg and most recently at Cambridge Manor in Ct., she was quick to shout out a "thank you" even for the medications she disliked. She was pre-deceased by her dear brother, Alvin and his wife Edith. She will be remembered by her nieces: Joyce Lewis and husband Ken, Judy Dughman and husband Terry, and Dorothy Langren and husband Bill. She is also survived by 6 great nieces and nephews: Carolyn, Heidi, Jeanine, Kristin, Michael, and Amber as well as 8 great, great nieces and nephews. She was a generous and supportive Auntie to all. She shared many fond childhood memories with very special friends from the neighborhood. The Dennis - D'Arcy & Kelemen Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements in Connecticut. There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Paul's Parish in Greensburg Pa. on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
