Ann Hlavacek, age 94, of Trumbull, previously of Monroe passed away on Thursday October 29, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital. Born in Bridgeport she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Christine was an inspector at the General Electric Company for 41 years before her retirement. She was predeceased by her beloved friend, Mildred I. Miner of Monroe. Survivors include dear friends, Mary Veres of Fairfield and Davis and Arlene Hubbs of Southington. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford with V. Rev. Stephen Belonick, Pastor of Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home prior to services.
