Angel Luis Segarra Sr., age 72 of Stratford passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side.  He was the beloved husband of Barbara Penna Segarra.  Angel was born in Puerto Rico on September 28, 1946.  He was a retired truck driver for the City of Bridgeport for many years until his retirement.  Angel was also a bounty hunter for CT Bail Enforcement. He was a member of the Milford B.P.O.E..  In addition to his devoted wife Barbara of 49 years he is survived by his children; Catherine M. Riley and her husband Paul of Boynton Beach, FL, Angel L. Segarra Jr. of Bridgeport and John A. Segarra of Fairfield.  3 grandchildren; Heather Snedden, Brandon Lukac and Jacob Segarra as well as 2 great grandchildren; Khole Segarra and Landon Snedden.  He is also survived by 2 brothers, Domingo Miranda and Jamie Rodriguez.  The hours of visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 4 to 6 pm at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford.  Prayer services will take place at 6 pm at the funeral home with Deacon Raymond Chervanak officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the family.
