Amanda Eileen Peluso, 32, of Stratford, passed away suddenly on Nov. 6, in South Carolina while visiting her ailing father. Amanda spent her first years in Trumbull, CT. She attended Jane Ryan School until the passing of her mother, Moyna Turner Peluso, in 1993. The family then relocated to Pine Rock Park in Shelton to reside with her grandmother, Rachel Peluso. Amanda was extremely friendly and outgoing and easily made new friends. She also proved to be an excellent student. After graduating from Shelton High School, she became a mother to Dylan Torello. She worked in the food and beverage industry while attending the University of Bridgeport. There she graduated with high honors earning a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Some may remember her from her many years at Carousel Gardens in Seymour, CT. Most recently, she hoped to return to a professional position as her children had gotten older. Having lost her mother at the age of 8 and more recently her sister Sarah Peluso in 2009, Amanda was deeply devoted to family. Her family and children meant the world to her. She was a very determined, fun loving young woman whose sudden death has left her family and many friends with an unbelievable sense of loss. We will remember her never ending sense of humor, her beautiful smile, easy laugh and her deep love and commitment to family life. Goodbye Amanda. We love you.
