Agnes Marie Salter, age 83, of Fairfield,  widow of Nicholas Salter passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Saint Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport CT.

Agnes was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late William Howard Sayball Sr. and Mildred Mary O'Connor Sayball.

She was a homemaker and worked part time at a plethora of local business in the area to help support her family before retiring at 62.  She enjoyed making other people laugh and be happy with her sense of humor and generosity. She loved gardening and going to the beach and being outdoors.

Sadly missed by her three children. Her two sons, Nicholas L Salter of Naugatuck, Richard R. Salter of Fairfield and one daughter Linda A Salter of Fairfield. Also will be missed by her two brothers, William  Sayball Jr. and his wife Brenda of NC, James Sayball and his wife of SC, her sister Marilyn Kennedy and her husband Robert of FL.  and any nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was predeceased  by her parents William Sayball Sr. and Mildred (O'Connor) Sayball and her brother Robert Sayball.

Friends and relatives are invited to attended  a graveside service on Friday October 13, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. in Mt. Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Ave. Bridgeport.  Please follow sign # 2 from the Main Gate at North and Dewey Streets  to be directed to the gravesite.
