Roseann Trotta, age 65, of Stratford passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, March 30, 2012. She was the wife of Nicholas Trotta. Born in Bridgeport on June 1, 1946 she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Mobilio Penna. Rosie was a mail room clerk for Media Printing for many years before her retirement in 2004. She was a member of the Buffalo’s and enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. She enjoyed being with her family the most, especially her Friday night pinochle games with her brothers and sisters. In addition to her beloved husband Nicholas she is survived by her 4 daughters; Debbie Penna of Milford, Denise Rodrigues of Stratford, Donna Trotta of Stratford and Dawn Callazo of Bridgeport. Her brothers and sisters; Phil and Carl Penna, Lucy Rappeline, Barbara Segarra, Carm Obuchowski, Carol Anzolletti, Michelle Cordero and Mary Ardito. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and tons of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 2 to 6 pm at the Dennis & D’Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford.
