George Albert Kovac, age 54 of Bridgeport passed away suddenly at his home on Friday August 31, 2012. Born in Bridgeport on February 15, 1956 he was a son of the late Joseph and Antoinette Kovac. George was a mechanic at Sikorsky Aircraft many years. He is survived by his two loving daughters; Christine Kovac and Janine Kovac both of Shelton and one precious granddaughter, Mikaila Kovac. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 4 to 8 pm at the Dennis & D’Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford. Interment services will be held privately at St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the family.
