Lois Frimpter Vertucci, age, 65, widow of Charles Vertucci of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Sunday August 26, 2012 at Bridgeport Manor. Born in Bridgeport she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Lois Doucette Frimpter. She was a retired home care nurse’s aid. Survivors include her brother Garrett Frimpter of Tampa, FL, her devoted brother in law, Henry Altieri and his wife Rita of Fairfield and niece Attorney Maria Alteri of Bridgeport. Also, several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Bridgeport Manor for their wonderful care and compassion given to Lois during her stay. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday August 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St Margaret’s Shrine , 2539 Park Ave Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may greet the family on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10: 30 a.m. in the Dennis & D’Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St.Stratford.
