Warren G. Deschenaux, age 88 of Shelton passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at his home. He was the widower of his beloved wife of 64 years Jean E. Baird Deschenaux. Warren was born in Bridgeport on August 10, 1923 a son of the late Philip and Alrena Deschamps Deschenaux. He was a mechanical engineer for Dicta Phone in his early career and retired from Perkin & Elmer in Norwalk where he held two patents in his name for work on the Hubble Space Craft. Warren enjoyed wood working, whittle birds, golfing and sailing his radio controlled boats. He and his devoted wife Jean loved to travel the United States and were both involved with the Shelton AARP where he sat as treasurer. He is survived by his children; Warren G. Deschenaux and his wife Joanne of Annapolis, MD and Laurie Picariello of Seymour. Three grandsons; Christopher Picariello, Brett Deschenaux and Samuel Deschenaux and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife he was predeceased by his sister, Alrena Buttery and brother, Arthur Deschnow. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Warren’s special care givers; Rose Addona and Marcia Florio for their passionate and expert care. A visitation will be held Saturday (TODAY) from 3 to 6 pm at the Dennis & D’Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford. A prayer service will take place Saturday after the visitation at 6pm with Deacon Raymond Chervanak officiating. Private burial services will take place in Lawn Cemetery, Shelton.
